Dancehall artist Vybz Kartel will be teaming up with his former mentor, Veteran deejay Bounty Killer, for his upcoming single.

The two music giants made the announcement recently on social media after Vybz Kartel shared a throwback photo with Killer and Wayne Marshall as he called out critics that are taking aim at his current weight.

“Me, big Breda and DADDY!!! #AllianceDays …BTW dem say me get skinny. Apart from 2014 family day pic at horizon, when was Vybz Kartel ever fat? Smh #AllianceToGaza,” the caption read which got the attention of the “War Lord” “Rasssclaath mon this is a fling far fawud all black alliance days,” he commented.

Killer’s comment then sparked the two to announce her upcoming track, “Daddy [Bounty Killer]  weh dem a go do when the #killakartelkollab drop?” Vybz Kartel wrote. While Killer responded saying, [Vybz Kartel] Beta dem just go find some weh go lidung or drop dung b4 it drop because when it drop nutn naah git up back dawg.”

According to sources, Bounty Killer visited Vybz Kartel in prison recently and the two had a long conversation about their Alliance days and what’s happening in dancehall currently.

The two have collaborated in the past on several singles, with the self-proclaimed “Worl Boss” even penning a few hits for Killer in the early 2000s. However the Dancehall heavyweights bitter fallout ended their relationship back in 2005, its now good it see the two are now putting their differences aside and are making music again.
