Close Vybz Kartel affiliate and upcoming artiste Sikka Rymes has been detained by cops while on his way to visit the deejay in prison.
The “Wul Dem” deejay took to Instagram earlier this week informing fans that he and three other friends were being detained by cops while going to visit Vybz Kartel at the St. Catherine Adult Correctional Center in Spanish Town.
According to the deejay, they were on their way to bring food for the incarcerated Dancehall superstar when they were pulled over by cops who demanded a search of the vehicle.
“Good morning people, me have a video shoot today zeen at twelve o’clock, and right now me deh pon my way to visit Vybz Kartel to drop off food because today is food day,” he said. “When I reached in Spanish Town with me and three other of my colleague, and police pulled us over and we allowed them to search the car and they didn’t find anything.”

The deejay claims he was then told by the lawmen that his three friends would be detained for processing, and he would also have to accompany them despite already being in the system, or face having his vehicle towed.
Fans have taken to social media to warn the entertainer as they believe this is just a part of a wider conspiracy by the police force to frustrate Vybz Kartel and those closely associated with him.
“They are you targeting you because of your association with Vybz Kartel don’t you see you need to be more careful in the streets because next thing they try to pin a murder charge on you and your friends Sikka,” one fan wrote.
