Travis Scott is quite thrilled with his first ever No.1 album – his recently released project “Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight” has topped the Billboard 200 chart.

The album did not pull in big numbers in comparison to his colleagues projects like Drake’s “Views”, Kanye’s “Life of Pablo” , and his ex-girlfriend Rihanna’s “ANTI” but it still made its way to the top of the world’s most recognized chart.

During its first week of being released, “Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight” was streamed 50 million times on Apple Music. The album sold 88,000 equivalent album units with 53,000 being album sales and the remainder from streaming. The project is a follow up of the rapper’s 2015 album “Rodeo” which debut at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Billboard also reported that Scott is also celebrating a new worldwide publishing deal with Grand Hustle Publishing/Universal Music Publishing Group.
