Canadian R&B sensation Tory Lanez has downplayed his alleged beef with fellow Toronto rapper Drake, saying the situation was largely blown “out of proportion.”

The “Luv” crooner downplayed his alleged beef with Drizzy on a recent interview with Sway in The Morning, saying he doesn’t have any personal issues with the rapper.

According to Lanez he is just here to be “number one,” and to let the music speak for itself, and believes perceived beef scenarios are just misconceptions artiste have towards him.

The alleged feud between the two Toronto artiste reached mainstream attention after rapper Drake seemed to take aim at Lanez on the track “Summer Sixteen” rapping “All you boys in the new Toronto wanna be me a little.” It was a known fact that Lanez released a mixtape titled The New Toronto in 2015.
