Several Dancehall entertainers including Tommy Lee Sparta, Sizzla, Sean Kingston, Gage took to social media on Monday following the news of XXXTentacion’s death.

The Jamaican-American rapper was shot and killed yesterday.

The 20-year-old rising star, whose real name is Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, was pronounced dead Monday evening at a Fort Lauderdale-area hospital, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said. He was shot earlier Monday outside a Deerfield Beach motorcycle dealership.

Sizzla who collaborated with XXXTentacion on a track titled ‘I’m Yours’, reposted a snippet of the single and wrote, ‘Rest up in Zion ??????.’

While Jamaican pop singer Sean Kingston, Stefflon Don and Gage also sent out their condolences.
