Tifa is the latest entertainer to be targeted by hackers.
The Dancehall diva’s verified profile on the media-sharing application went offline on Thursday evening.
According to sources close to Tifa, a bitter ex-lover could be responsible for the hack. The ‘JA Party’ singer reportedly received threats from her ex-boyfriend after she announced that she got engaged last month.
“Ever since she [Tifa] got engaged her crazy ex has been issuing a slew of threats saying he’s going to stop her career and hack her social media pages and bank account,” the source said. “She thought he was just upset however days later her profile went down.”
“This is going to set Tiffy back big time because her album was supposed to be release this month but her team will have to push it back now.”
Tifa also took to her official fan page, Team Tifa News, on Saturday to confirm her account was hacked and revealed that she is currently working with Instagram to restore her profile.
“My Instagram will be restored soon‼ Who God bless no man curse‼ Good ova evil we say‼ @itsthetifa forever‼ She got hacked,” the caption read.
