Two teenage girls have been arrested and charged for allegedly setting their 7-year-old niece on fire in Clarendon.
The two teens are accused of lighting their young niece on fire after the child reportedly overturned a container spilling the contents on herself.
The accused have since claimed that they were only joking around during the incident, and did not mean to harm their niece.
One of the accused appeared before the court on Friday along with a grandmother who was also charged. The 17-year-old teen was remanded into custody while her grandmother was granted bail.
They are scheduled to return to court on July 27.
