Spice says music critics should put some respect on her name.

Last week the “Queen of Dancehall” rolled out two music videos for her ‘Genie’ single on International Women’s Day, which she claims is the first from any Caribbean entertainer.

“The first artist from the Caribbean to drop two official music videos for one song. #Genie videos are out, Put some respect on my name. Don’t deny my work ethic , Queen raising the bar ??? #QueenOfdancehall ,” Spice wrote under a photo. “They will amplify your flaws and whisper your success,” she added.

Genie is produced by the Dancehall entertainer’s Spice Official Entertainment Record label. The ladies anthem is among the smash hit singles featured on Spice’s new chart-topping ‘Captured’ mixtape.

Captured made its debut at the number one spot on the Billboard Reggae Album chart. The project features 19 songs including the lead single “Black Hypocrisy,” which sent Dancehall fans into a frenzy last year when Spice shared a light-skinned photo on Instagram to promote the track.
