Reggae superstar Sizzla Kalaonji has earned the debut charting of his career on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart with the release of his latest project “I’m Yours.”
The “Give Me a Try” crooner’s highly anticipated project debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, a career best for the Jamaican singer, who has released over 26 albums over his illustrious career.
According to album’s producer Jon FX, the project is one of the singer’s best works in years, as it documents the evolution of the Reggae superstar who has drastically diversified his craft over the years.
The prolific music producer says he has had the pleasure of working with the Reggae singer over a number of years, and that the album is essentially a summary of his musical journey which saw him branch out into several other genres including Afrobeat.
This is only the latest accolade for Sizzla, as he was also featured on Dj Khaled’s chart topping “Grateful” album earlier this year.
