After Usain Bolt’s massive success in the recent Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; residents of the his hometown community of Sherwood Content are now calling for a statue of the legendary sprinter to be erected in the community instead of the Falmouth Cruise Pier.

According to the residents, Bolt belongs to the people of Sherwood Content since he was born and raised in the community. “That plan will not work; we are adamant that we will not allow that. Bolt belongs first and foremost to the people of Sherwood Content,” says Owen Barrett.”We watched him as a likkle boy run on our streets and became world champion as a grown man.”

However Falmouth’s Mayor Garth Wilkinson says, the statue of Bolt will be erected in Water, Square, Falmouth to draw tourists to the area.
