Shenseea is giving her fans some inspiration for the new year.
The Dancehall singjay took to social media on Friday to share a lengthly story on how she was betrayed and mocked by her close friends because she grew up poor.
“I have seen people who i called friends who were in foreign countries getting some hot Js and human hair extensions came to a place I called home then gossiped about my environment behind my back, dissed me n called me broke, laugh at my clothes and plastic hair that i used to wear,” she captioned a behind the scenes clip from her new music video Subrosa (Come Closer).
The ‘Jiggle Jiggle’ singer says the unfortunate situation gave her the push to work hard in life to achieve her goals, “Once I found them out I cut ties and moved on without laying a hand on them cause that pushed me harder to elevate however they themselves are now currently in debt ? having beef with females and having babies with the ni***z who made them a side piece to begin with. They didnt grow older than me and they didnt grow any younger but life I tell you is a funny thing.”

Shenseea continued by sharing that the best revenge on someone who did you wrong is get become successful as time will take care of them, “I think there are different types of revenge and when someone cuts you real DEEP to the core without remorse the best thing you can do is let them be and let Life take care of them because if you take revenge you will end up hurting yourself.”
“I’m a Libra I have to make balance in EVERYTHING but in cases like heartbreaks friendship wise or relationship wise. I choose to do it with success! Here I am! Dancing to lovely melodies in the complete opposite of what they degraded me in!
