Dancehall singjay Shenseea teams up with Konshens for a brand new banger titled ‘Hard Drive.’
The visuals and audio for the track was released on Friday, June 15. Hard Drive crisp visuals seemingly inspired by 1985 post-apocalyptic film Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome and 2016 Fantasy/Science fiction film Suicide Squad is currently the number six trending video on YouTube in Jamaica with over 50,000 views.
Hard Drive is produced by Rvssian for his Head Concussion Records label. Shenseea, Konshens and Rvssian previously linked up with Belizean entertainer King Kosa for ‘Best NaNa’.
Meanwhile, Shenseea and fellow Jamaican artist Keida are featured on American pop singer Aguilera’s new album ‘Liberation.’ The Jamaicans partner with Aguilera on the track titled ‘Right Moves’ for which both Shenseea, whose given name is Chinsea Lee and Keida, real name Makeida Beckford are listed in the credits as the writers.
About Shenseea:
Shenseea (born Chinsea Lee) is a Jamaican dancehall reggae performer and deejay (Jamaican). Also of Korean descent, her real name is Chinsea Lee and she grew up in St. Elizabeth. Shenseea used to be a promo girl until Romeich entertainment signed her. Romeich is her manager. After remixing well known Vybz Kartel’s song Loodi and performing on a side stage at Reggae Sumfest in 2015 she took the main stage as her notoriety grew in 2017 and she toured internationally. She received corporate sponsorship deals from telecom firm Flow and Pepsi-Cola Jamaica sponsorship as a representative of their ginger flavored soda in Jamaica.
At the 2016 Youth View Awards she won Young Hot and Hype Artiste; Break Out Celebrity of 2016, and Collaboration of The Year for her song Loodi with Vybz Kartel which has been her most successful song to date. In additional to dancehall she has shown skills freestyling as a rapper. She teamed up with Sean Paul for the 2017 single Rolling and on a leg of his 2017 European tour. She has also worked with [[Tommy Lee ]]. In June 2018, she will be featured on Christina Aguilera’s new album “Liberation”, in the song “Right Moves”.
