Shenseea’s “Pon Mi” lyrics got the attention of Canadian rapper Drake.
The Dancehall entertainer recently stopped by Genius to explain the explicit lyrics in the Dunwell Production single.
In a snippet uploaded to her Instagram account on Tuesday, Shenseea can be heard breaking down her a few lines including the raunchy “When u see baby born is a miracle to how mi p***y bless,” lyrics from in the single.
The clip caught Drake’s eye who dropped a few laughing emojis in Shenseea’s comment section. The “ShenYeng Anthem” singer quickly responded saying, “Hey Drake.”
Drizzy has been keeping taps on a few Jamaican talents for the last few weeks with online interactions with Stefflon Don and Jada Kingdom.
Many fans are now speculating that the rapper could have a Dancehall project in the pipeline.
