Shauna Chyn is refusing to confirm or deny the ongoing rumours that she is now dating Joe Bogdanovich or signed to his Downsound Records label.
The two sparked dating rumours last month after they were spotted together at several local events. Other Dancehall fans also speculated that the “Control Button” singer could be the new ‘First Lady of Downsound Entertainment,’ following Ishawna’s exit.
Despite being mum on the rumours, Chyn says her link to Bogdanovich is nothing new. Shauna Chyn revealed that she has known the businessman for years and said her relationship with members of the Downsound team dates all the way back to 2004.

According to Shauna Chyn, she helped with promotions for several entertainers affiliated with the label including Nanko, Fantan Mojah, Anthony B and Jah Cure.
Chyn who is currently promoting her new singles Control Button, Suicide and Stew Peas and Lemonade, said the success of her music locally got the attention of Bogdanovich.
“Joe hear me a sing and say him can’t believe me can actually sing. But a just chu me never loud wid it and dem ting deh,” she said. “He never knew I had the capability to do all these things, but now him recognise me talent and says he’s proud of the growth.”
