Dancehall artist Ganggoolie has become the latest industry figure to blast Shauna Chyn over her controversial single “Suicidal.”

Ganggoolie has joined the growing number of Dancehall personalities to blast the “Control Button” star for her controversial single, which encourages women to seek financial rewards for sexual favours.

According to the “Muscle Wine” deejay, Shauna Chyn’s “free f**k a rape” lyrics are very disturbing and could potentially cause serious problems in homes as many women may take the term a bit too literally.

The deejay claims that while most women may understand that Chyn’s lyrics were purely figurative there are those, especially younger ones, who may take it too literally and make false allegations against their partners.

Ganggoolie also pointed to the growing number of domestic crimes throughout the island, saying that this kind of mentality could add fuel to the fire by encouraging women to cheat or leave over financial issues.

Shauna Chyn Steps Into Entrepreneurship

Earlier this month Chyn also faced significant backlash from fans on social media who accused her of using the track to promote prostitution. The deejay, however, hit back claiming her message was taken out of proportion.

According to Chyn, the song was never written with the intention of promoting prostitution but rather to encourage women to look out for themselves.

The deejay went on to claim that women should secure benefits from the relationship in case the man decides to leave, that way they at least have something to show for their time invested.
