Shaggy continues to give back to the children, after making another massive donation to the Bustamante Hospital for Children.

The “I Wasn’t Me” deejay who is the founder of the Make A Difference Foundation, which has made over US$US1.6 million worth of donations to the children’s hospital has donated another US$529,000 worth of equipment earlier this week.

The Jamaican superstar has raised the funds for his charity from his annual ‘Shaggy and Friends’ concert series, which has been in existence since 2009.

The donation is set to be the first of two handovers from the foundation for 2017, says executive director Rebecca Burrell, with the second set for September later this year.

Shaggy recently revealed that plans are on course for the hospital’s new and improved cardiac facility to be completed this October, and will offer free cardiac surgery for Jamaican babies.

The next staging of the Shaggy and Friends charity concert is scheduled for January 6, 2018.
