Several disc jocks and Artists have vowed not to support Ishawna’s controversial “Equal Rights” single.

The female dancehall artist is receiving some backlash from some members of the dancehall community following the release of her provocative single “Equal Rights,” which glorifies men performing oral sex.

Several high profile disc jocks have openly proclaimed they will not be supporting the controversial track, despite its growing popularity on social media among fans.

Popular disk jock, Bishop Escobar is one several high profile selectors who have vowed not to play the track during their musical sets.

According to the Romiech Entertainment signed selector, any selector that supports the controversial track could run the risk of permanently damaging their careers.

Ishawna has also faced recent backlash from several other dancehall artists, with no fewer than three singles released condemning the former Downsound Records artist’s hit single.

The most recent diss track at Ishawna has been Macka Diamond’s “Nuh tongue,” which blasted the taboo topic.
