The Sangster International Airport (SIA) in Montego Bay has been named the Caribbean’s best airport for the ninth consecutive year by the World Travel Awards.
The Montego Bay-based airport once again reigned supreme after trumping 10 other Caribbean destinations to cop the prestigious award.

The recognition marks the ninth consecutive occasion that the SIA has walked away with the award since its inception in 2005. This is largely attributed to the airport’s continual efforts to upgrade structural and artistic aspects of the facility over the years.
According to World Travel Awards, SIA scored the highest in regards to satisfaction and appeal among passengers for the calendar year.
