Samantha J was rushed to hospital in Belize on Saturday after she was badly injured in an accident.
The recording artiste, model and songwriter says fell down a flight of stairs, which left her with a broken jaw, a few broken teeth and bruises all over her body.
Samantha J, whose given name is Samantha Gonsalves, was in Belize to perform at one of the country’s biggest cultural events of the year, Costa Maya Festival.
“To all my fans, due to an accident…. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend any of my upcoming engagements. Please know i love and appreciate you all,” the 21-year-old wrote on her Instagram account.
The ‘Tight Skirt’ singer’s injury has now forced her to take a break from performing for the rest of summer as she will need some time to recuperate.
