Jamaican Rapper/Producer Safaree stopped by Rap-Up recently to candidly talk about his ex-girlfriend YMCMB Rapper Nicki Minaj, his lawsuit against her, the reason for their breakup, The Game and Meek Mill’s ongoing feud plus a few other topics.
Speaking on his lawsuit filed against the ‘Anaconda’ hit maker, Safaree said, “I’d started a process and then I was like, ‘It is what it is,” The Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star added,” If you want to deal with it like that, go ahead. I ain’t trippin’.’ I’m doing a lot and I don’t want to have to deal with depositions and courts and all of that. Ain’t nobody threatened me. Ain’t nobody make me do it. At the end of the day, I didn’t even wanna do it. I just know if it was me and the shoe was on the other foot, I’d handle it and just say, ‘Peace out. Here. Do what you gotta do. That’s it.’ But I just dropped it.”.

During the interview Safaree revealed that Philly rapper Meek Mill was behind his breakup with Nicki after they dated over a decade. “[Meek] definitely was a big part as to why me and Nicki broke up,” he said.
The ‘Stunt Gang’ rapper also touched on the current beef with The Game and Meek saying, “I don’t feel no sympathy for nobody who don’t care about me,” he added. “It is what it is.”
