Safaree sat down with the hosts of Easily Offended recently and spoke about how Nicki Minaj stepped out on their relationship and locked lips with Nas.
According to the Jamaican rapper, songwriter, when Nicki was shooting the music video for “Right By My Side” single featuring Chris Brown back in 2012, they were not just secretly dating but they were engaged.
Safaree says the Trinidadian rapper got way too comfortable with Nas on set and they kissed on camera behind his back.
Safaree added that Nicki had to explain it to him when the video came out months later.
Interviewer: How did you feel when you seen her kiss Nas?
Safaree: I was there. You wanna know what’s so crazy? I didn’t know it happened until the video came out. I ain’t gonna lie I was hurt. I was there the whole day, I was like ‘damn did that happen when I left to go?’ I must have left for like an hour.
