Safaree has continued to shed light on his past with former girlfriend Nicki Minaj, claiming he was both verbally and physically abused during their relationship.
The Jamaican-born rapper made the alarming claims during a recent podcast interview with Dj Envy and wife Gia Casey.
According to Safaree, for years he experienced substantial physical and verbal abuse from the rap superstar but was “brainwashed” to thinking it was completely fine, as he also grew accustomed to the perks of their lifestyle.

Safaree told Gia Casey during the interview that he was denied having much of an outside life, and he was often forbidden from leaving their crib as Nicki was a very sheltered person.
The “Hunnid” rapper went on to explain that he endure much of this abuse largely because he was so proud of her, and wanted to supportive of her growing career.
Safaree recently sent social media into a frenzy after nude video clips emerged online showing off the rapper’s “manhood” much to the delight of many female fans.
