Born in the parish of Westmoreland in a small district called Haddo, located thirty minutes from the parish capital of Sav-La-Mar, up and coming reggae artist Ruffi attended Haddo primary school until the age of twelve after which he attended Knockalva Technical High school for six successful years.
His love for music started in primary school. In class his friends would use their hands on the desk to make a beat and he would make up a song to go along with it.
