Romain Virgo has topped the Billboard Reggae Album Charts for the first time in his career following the release of his fourth studio album “Love Sick,” which was released on March 30.

The 16-track album, which features songs predominantly by producer Nicholas Browne for his Lifeline Music imprint raced to the top of the chart after selling a total of 296 copies in its first week.

Virgo becomes the second Digicel Rising Stars winner to make the Billboard Reggae chart after fellow crooner Christopher Martin made it into the top three with his 2017 album “Big Deal.”

The album features several notable tracks including “In This Together”, “Sweet Liar”, “Face to Face” and a cover of Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me.”

Other Jamaican acts making the top ten include I-Octane who climbs to the number three position with “Love & Life,” while Damian Marley’s “Stony Hill” falls to number five with a total of 19,423 copies since its release.
