Reggae Sumfest is looking to deliver big time this summer as organizers have already confirmed several big-name acts for the annual festival, which will be staged in Montego Bay.
The organizers of the annual Reggae festival recently teased a preview of what fans can expect by confirming the appearance of superstars Damian “Junior Gong” Marley, Beres Hammond, Popcaan, Ding Dong, Aidonia, Maxi Priest, and female dancehall act, Spice.
According to Downsound Entertainment CEO and owner of Reggae Sumfest, Josef Bogdanovich, fans can expect nothing but the best from this year’s staging, which will be held July 15-21 in Montego Bay.
The businessman went on to reveal that the festival should see a greater international pull following a new partnership forged with international travel booking giant, Expedia.
Bogdanovich also went on to reveal the inclusion of a very special night aimed at saluting the sound system culture. For the first time the festival has decided to feature Irish and Chin’s popular World Clash series, which has been a staple of Jamaican culture over the years.
