Dancehall artistes Popcaan, Spice and Vybz Kartel were among the biggest winners last weekend at the 2016 staging of the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA).
The ‘Unruly Boss’ Popcaan walked away with the Entertainer of the Year award, the ‘Queen of Stage’ Spice won the award for the Best Female deejay while incarcerated Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel was awarded the Best Male. The Best Song of the year was given to Reggae firebrand Nesbeth for his ‘My Dream’ single.
