Popcaan’s visa issues may finally be over.

For years the “Unruly Boss” has remained one of the few Dancehall acts still unable to acquire a visa and work permit in order to perform in the United States.

However, it seems that the situation may have taken a drastic change as the “Family” deejay recently took to Instagram to post a video clip teasing fans of his alleged presence in New York.

“Yeah New York, me deh them think me ramp,” said the deejay.

Fans were left scratching their heads debating whether or not the deejay was actually being serious or just being his usual playful self in the video clip.

Despite the deejay’s declaration, several fans were left feeling a little inconclusive about his presence in the Big Apple as his surroundings failed to give any true confirmation.

However, this did not stop scores of fans from taking to social media to celebrate the Jamaican superstar’s apparent visit, with many anticipating a future performance.

Popcaan’s travel issues have long been a talking point in the music industry, but this has seemingly never affected the deejay’s massive popularity with the North American market.

Although not being able to visit the US Popcaan has still been able to perform in several other markets such as Canada, Europe, Africa, and the wider Caribbean.

The news comes just days after the deejay hosted his second annual Off-to-School treat at Rudolph Elder Park in Morant Bay on Thursday, August 22. The event was held under his Popcaan Care Foundation, which is geared towards helping his home parish.
