Popcaan is already benefiting from his Drake affiliation.

The Dancehall entertainer’s sophomore album ‘Forever’ went back to securing then number one spot on the Apple Music Reggae Albums chart last week, just days after Drake announced that Popcaan will officially be signed to his OVO label next year.

Popcaan’s latest music videos “Dun Rich” featuring Nigerian superstar Davido and “Wine For Me” are also number 1 and 2 respectively on the videos chart, while “Silence” is number 4 on the songs chart.

Last weekend while performing at the inaugural Unruly Fest, Drake revealed that Popcaan will officially become the newest member of his OVO entertainment camp in the new year.
