Dancehall entertainer Popcaan is calling for his former mentor, Vybz Kartel’s freedom.
The Unruly Boss gave Kartel a huge shout-out in his new single “Goals.” The Dancehall banger is produced by Vybz Kartel Muzik and featured on Freedom Street Riddim.
“Drink Henny and pree life / Tell the system fi free Vybz Kartel / Affi sharp now like three knives cuz the demons them bad as well / Affi sit down and pree life cuz the people weh real yo just can’t tell,” Popcaan spits over the beat.

Vybz Kartel was instrumental in Popcaan getting his big break in the Dancehall industry after he signed the Unruly Boss to his Gaza/Portmore empire camp.
Popcaan who recently inked a lucrative deal with Canadian rapper Drake’s OVO record label, is not forgetting everything Vybz Kartel did for his career.
Last month, the “Family” deejay uploaded a throwback video for Vybz Kartel endorsing him in an interview. “Ah me protege, ah the next Vybz Kartel,” Addi said in the clip.
