The police have detained one man in connection with illegal firearm and ammunition find made in Falmouth, Trelawny on Tuesday morning.
According to reports, the man was detained after his vehicle was searched by cops and a 9mm pistol along with nine rounds of ammunition was found in his possession.
Investigators say checks were made after conducting preliminary investigations into a report filed by the man.
The man’s identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
