Agent Sasco has received a glowing endorsement from Prime Minister Andrew Holness for his latest album “Hope River.”

The veteran entertainer was singled out for some special praise by the Hon. Andrew Holness after he recently visited Jamaica House to hand deliver a copy of his album latest album to the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister took to Instagram to thank the entertainer for the gesture as well as commending him on the content of the album which he described as “uplighting” and “inspirational.”

There’s nothing like some good inspirational music to get us all through the week. This afternoon, Agent Sasco @agentsasco presented me with his new album ‘Hope River’ and I took the opportunity to listen to a few of the tracks. This album showcases inspirational and uplifting songs which makes it worthy of Billboard status. It gives me pleasure to see the emergence of music that inspires Jamaicans to focus on what truly matters; to work with one another, support and uplift each other. Agent Sasco has continued to give us quality music that transcends age, class, and borders,” Holness said.

Agent Sasco also took to Instagram to declare his gratitude for the opportunity to sit down with the nation’s leader, as well as a chance to discuss “one of our nation’s greatest resources,” which is music.

The move was lauded by fans online who commended the entertainer for being a model ambassador or Dancehall and Reggae music throughout the years.

Agent Sasco’s “Hope River” recently debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart after being released on August 31 on all digital outlets. The 14 track album features his recent hit single “Winning Right Now” and is distributed by Diamond Studios.
