A St Ann nurse is dead after she was shot by a man outside a supermarket in St Ann’s Bay on Friday.
The woman has been identified as Ophelia Walloston, a registered nurse from Lime Hall, St Ann.
Walloston was shot at about 6:30 pm Friday evening as she shopped at a busy supermarket in St Ann‘s Bay.
According to reports, she had gone to the St Ann’s Bay Police Station earlier to file a report and then left for the supermarket. While at the supermarket, Walloston had an altercation with a man who opened fire at her.

Cops did not confirm if the man who shot Walloston was the person she had filed a complaint against. The attacker reportedly handed himself over to the police following the shooting on Friday.
