Ninja man’s lawyer Valerie Neita Robertson is refuting reports that her client is dead.
On Tuesday, rumors started circulating on social media that the embattled veteran deejay died, however according to Robertson, the “Don Gorgon” is alive and well.
The former Downsound Records artist, real name Desmond Ballentine’s spouse also confirmed that he’s alive, citing that the rumors of his death are “false and disturbing.”

She also shared that Ninja Man is good spirits amidst his current murder trial.
The allegations against Ninja Man, along with his son, Janeil, and another man, Dennis Clayton, are that they collectively engaged in the fatal shooting of Ricardo Johnson, also known as ‘Ricky Trooper’, in the Marl Road area of St Andrew in 2009.
The case, first mentioned in court the same year, has had 17 missed trial dates and 23 mention dates since then.
