After eight years Ninja Man’s murder trial has been hit by another road block.

The veteran Dancehall artist went back to the Home Circuit Court on Monday May 8, 2017 however the trial was postponed once again because a judge or courtroom wasn’t available for the case.

According to Ninja Man’s attorney, Valerie Neita Robertson, this is the sixth time her client’s trial has been postponed. Robertson added that the constant delays are hampering her client’s right to a fair trial.

The “Murder Dem” deejay, real name Desmond Ballentine, was jointly charged along with his son Janiel and two others for the March 2009 murder of Ricardo “Trooper” Johnson.

Ninja is expected to return to court on October 2, 2017.
