Nicki Minaj sampled Shabba Ranks “Ting -A-Ling” on her latest track, “The Pinkprint Freestyle.
It’s been a while since the Young Money rapper laid down verses on her own record but it was definitely worth the wait because the rapper “bodied” the track with her fiery metaphors. In the song, she referred to herself as the “female Jay” and before she transitioned to the Shabba Ranks sample, she declared herself the queen when she rhymed “the queen back.”

The track which was released on September 4th has already amassed over 900,000 plays on soundcloud.
