Nicki Minaj and Safaree’s prolonged beef is far from over as the two took shots at each other over on social media over the weekend.
The former couple’s bitter relations continued to spew all over social media last weekend as the Young Money rapper decided to throw some shade at her ex following allegations about his writing skills.
The whole situation erupted after Azalea Banks told XXL that she was forced to write much of Safaree’s lyrics on a recent collaboration, despite the fact she initially connected with the rapper for his alleged role in writing many of Nicki’s biggest hits.
The “No Frauds” rapper did not pass up an opportunity to highlight the irony of the entire situation, as she liked a series of fan tweets dissing her former flame, and also taking a swipe at the Love & Hip Hop star herself saying “He can throw dirt on a woman who took care of him but won’t respond to u like a man huh? Ni**az only know how to say my name for a lil extra airtime but never respond to grown MEN.”
Safaree would quickly hit back in a series of tweets claiming that “I dont need you for airtime, Im on vh1. Plus they just started re-runs and the new season about to start so i think my airtime will be fine,” and that “I got my own and don’t need nobody for shoutouts or a platform.I’m good, now off to this fotoshoot, flt to Ny then Jamaica, locals be quiet.”
The heated exchange is only the latest occurrence between the two, as they frequently throw shade at each other following the end of their 11 year relationship.
