Trinidadian Rapper Nicki Minaj has responded to Cardi B landing the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart
The Bronx bombshell made history yesterday when her breakout track ‘Bodak Yellow’ topped the prestigious chart. Shortly after news started to circulate about Cardi B’s success, Nicki Minaj sent out her congratulatory message to the former Reality TV Show star.
“Congratulations to a fellow NEW YAWKA on a RECORD BREAKING achievement,” the ‘No Frauds’ rapper wrote. “Bardi, this is the only thing that matters!!! Enjoy it.”
Cardi later responded saying, “Thank you!! This means sooo much coming from you!!.”

The two have been locked into beef rumors for the past few months following the release of ‘Bodak Yellow’ which saw fans speculating that Nicki took jabs at Cardi on “No Flag.”
“Lil’ b***h I heard these labels tryna make another me/ Everything you getting little hoe is cause of me,” she rapped. Cadi B then seemingly responded on G-Eazy’s new single “No Limit,” saying – “Can you stop with all the subs?/ B**h I ain’t Jared.”
