Nicki Minaj says she has decided to push back her new album ‘Queen’ to August instead of its initial June release date.

“The album itself I think I want to put out on August 10. I want to put out my second single, which I’m really, really excited about, and I want to now start an official countdown,” Nicki said during her Instagram Live.

Nicki added that she wants to do things differently for this upcoming album and shared plans to invite her Barbs to her studio session to preview the new album.

The “Chun-Li” rapper followed up with a tweet confirming her new album release date, writing, “8|10|18 #Queen.”

In addition to her album announcement, Nicki also announced plans to host another social media scholarship give away, just as she did last May when she offered to pay off student loans and tuition for her fans.
