Dancehall artist Munga Honourable could be needing new legal representation after he failed to pay his lawyer’s retainer fee.

The embattled deejay has been left in legal limbo after his attorney, Christopher Townsend, recently revealed that he may no longer be representing the entertainer in his murder trial.

According to Townsend, it is unlikely that he will be representing the “Bad From Mi Born” deejay as the entertainer has failed to come up with the necessary retainer fee to secure his services.

Munga, whose real name is Damian Rhoden, was on Saturday charged with the shooting death of Cleveland Smith, a man cops say was gunned down at a party in the Ackee Walk community of St Andrew three weeks ago.

Smith was identified as a close relative of fellow entertainer Mr Vegas, and is the same person who chopped and wounded the “Gangsta Ras” deejay back in August 2015.

Munga is currently being detained at the Hunts Bay Police Station and has yet to be issued a court date.
