Fans are being urged to keep Munga Honourable in their prayers after he was recently charged with murder.

The embattled Dancehall artist’s legal team is asking his fans to pray for the ‘Bad From Mi Born’ deejay after he was on Saturday charged with the murder of a man identified as Cleveland Smith.

According to the artist’s attorney Christopher Townsend, the deejay remains in good spirits and maintains his innocence, but has urged all his fans to keep him in their prayers as he enters a very trying period in his career.

Police say Cleveland Smith was gunned down during a party in the Ackee Walk community of St Andrew.

Last week Munga was called into police custody for questioning in relation to the shooting death, he was however released on Thursday but would be arrested and charged with Smith’s murder on Saturday afternoon.

Cops say Smith is the same man who chopped and injured the “Gangsta Ras” deejay back in August 2015.

Munga is expected to appear in court sometime this week, where his legal representatives are expected to make a bail application.
