Mr Vegas will finally be staying out of controversy.
The outspoken recording artiste took to his Instagram account on Thursday to reveal that he will now be keeping his mouth shut.
“The new me!,” Vegas captioned a photo of Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr. with his mouth taped, “Only thing that will pass through them tapes, is music.”
Mr Vegas’ announcement was welcomed by most, if not all social media users. Since the start of the year the entertainer has made headlines several times including his infamous conversion to Christianity, backtracking on his decision to worship God, clash with Pastor Gino Jennings and a shooting at his apartment complex in St Andrew.

Vegas is currently promoting his new album titled ‘ISM.’
The 12-track project sticks to classical roots reggae music apart from the final track, the playful dancehall cut Wakanda Jam – inspired by the mythical African kingdom portrayed in the hit movie Black Panther – and Love Up There, an uplifting message set to a gentle uptempo riddim.
