Meek Mill is planning to visit Vybz Kartel in prison during his stay in Jamaica.

Sources close to the Philly rapper says his main reason for visiting the island is for business and topping the list is a meeting with the incarcerated Dancehall entertainer.

“Milly is a huge fan of Vybz Kartel and wants to visit him to talk some business,” the source said. “Given the deejay’s current situation we saw it best to handle things in person, so that’s one of the main reasons for visiting the island.”

On Monday, shortly after Meek Mill announcing his arrival in Jamaica, Vybz Kartel rolled out the welcome wagon for the rapper.

“Just touch down like N.A.S.A @meekmill #WelcomeToJamrock,” the Dancehall entertainer’s Instagram account wrote in Milly’s comment section.

Milly just released his new “Championships” album and is already working on his next project, the fifth instalment of his “Dreamchasers” mixtape series.

The rapper signed to Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group (MMG) label is the latest American rapper blessing the shores of Jamaica. Last month saw Hip Hop superstars DJ Khaled, Drake and Tory Lanez arriving on the island.
