Mavado has sought to address his longtime rival Vybz Kartel’s recent diss on social media.
The incarcerated Dancehall superstar blasted the Gully Gad earlier this week via Instagram after he uploaded a video of Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr. showing off his impressive watch collection.
“They say you cant read but they’re #intelligent and #broke,” Vybz Kartel captioned the video which got the attention of a Mavado fan who said the same could be said about the “Big League” deejay.
“So wul on deh Vybz Kartel. No same thing ou say bout the Barba Mavado… say him cyaa spell or read?? But him still rich right lol….,” The self-proclaimed “Worl’ Boss” clearly wasn’t here for the comment and wrote, “P****y who name Mavado?,” before going off on the fan.

Mavado seemingly addressed Vybz Kartel’s comment in a lengthy post uploaded to his IG account on Thursday, “Intelligence the ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills like I have been doing this music for so many years and so much f**kers will love to see my downfall,” he wrote.
“Well I’m just getting started and I always take it one step at a time even tho I have been thru so much over the years, been through fight by the other sides ?meanwhile they all use my style and my creativity and act as if it’s theirs.”
“Fifteen years now I’m going strong have been on the world billboard charts a couple a times all by myself now what the f**k dem do for Dancehall really even the fool dat says he’s the smartest he has nothing to show I guess your not that clever or brilliant just a fool dat don’t know about life let’s leave it there my fans ???2019.”
