Mariah Carey summoned the top surgeon in Beverly Hills to perform her gastric sleeve surgery last month after putting on a few pounds and being targeted by online body shamers and trolls.

According to Page Six, the 47-year-old underwent the procedure, where the doctor removes part of the stomach so that the patient gets full faster. Which helps since the singer had been gaining happy weight from all the dinners and drinks with her boyfriend, Bryan Tanaka. But now, according to the source, Carey “feels a lot better” and is “already seeing some good results.”
