A man was arrested on gun-related charges on Tuesday after police seized a homemade firearm with one round of ammunition in Kingston .
According to reports, police officers were at the intersection of Church Street and Port Royal Street about 11:00 pm when they accosted the man who was riding a bicycle.
He was searched and the firearm taken from his waistband. He was subsequently arrested.
Police said the man’s identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
