Beenie Man has been one of the most influential Dancehall artists of the last three decades and his popularity continues to grow.
The “Who Am I” deejay’s music seems to impact every generation, including small children as it was recently revealed that Basketball superstar Lebron James’ 4-year-old daughter is a huge fan of the Jamaican.
Fans quickly took note when King James wife, Savannah shared a clip of herself and the couple’s adorable daughter Zhuri James jamming to Beenie Man‘s “King of the Dancehall” on Instagram.
“You can’t hate on this one [Lebron James],” Savannah wrote.
The athlete did not respond but Dancehall fans expressed their delight for the cultural nod.
Beenie Man’s “King Of The Dancehall” was released back in 2004, a full 10 years before Zhuri was born. It was produced by Tony “CD” Kelly and peaked at number eighty on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Beenie Man has remained one of the most successful Dancehall acts of all time, with countless hits in a more than three-decade-long career.
The entertainer recently became a father once again after his fiancee Krystal Tomlinson gave birth to a baby girl last week.
