Back in January, Kim Kardashian-West and husband Kanye welcomed their third child and second daughter via surrogate. Now, just seven months later, the couple is reportedly planning to expand to a party of six.

According to US Weekly, a source said the two are planning to have their last “embryo implanted in a gestational carrier soon.”

“[They] have one last embryo left,” a second source said, revealing the sex is a male.

Due to preeclampsia and placenta accreta, and the high-risk pregnancies with daughter, North, 5, and son Saint, 2, Kardashsian turned to surrogacy, as she was warned of the risks of carrying on her own.

“Doctors said that it wasn’t safe for me – or the baby’s – health to carry on my own,” Kardashian said in January. “After exploring many options, Kanye and I decided to use a gestational carrier. Although I have used the term surrogate in the past, a gestational carrier is actually the technical term for a woman who carries a baby that she has no biological relationship to. A traditional surrogate donates her egg, is artificially inseminated with the father’s sperm and then carries the baby to term. Since we implanted my fertilized egg in our gestational carrier, our baby is biologically mine and Kanye’s.”

Although Kardashian has maintained her desire to have a large family, she said in April that she’s closing up shop at four kids.
