Khago has been studying the Muslim faith and aims to convert to its teachings.

The controversial Dancehall entertainer says he has been on a spiritual path towards the Muslim faith ever since he took a short hiatus from the music scene to do some much needed self searching, and aims to ultimately become a devoted follower.

According to the ‘Sky God,’ the Muslim faith is often misrepresented and misunderstood by many people. He believes we all ultimately serve the same God, just different interpretations so we should not fear or hate each other.

The former Rastafarian deejay re-emerged on the Dancehall scene last year sporting a new look, with his head shaved and a full beard, leading many to question his appearance.

According to the deejay he decided to cut his locks after they had become a heavy burden on his neck overtime. He also revealed that he never actually sported locks for religious purposes, but rather out of personal choice.

The artist also reaffirmed fans that his religious decisions will not impact his output of music, as he sees no contradiction once he maintains his pure and clean lifestyle.

However while many have since lauded his pending religious journey, many have blasted the artist claiming it’s another publicity stunt.

Last month the ‘Nah Sell Out’ deejay made rounds online with the release of two freaky singles, according to one Dancehall critic, Khago simply wants to turn to the Muslim faith to have an excuse to ‘Bow.’
