Alkaline’s former affiliate Kasanova has branded the vendetta deejay as “China made.”

Upcoming dancehall artist Kasanova has labelled his former affiliate Alkaline as largely unoriginal and heavily influenced by Vybz Kartel.

The “Bun Fi Bun” deejay made several claims about his former Ardenne High school friend and classmate during a recent Onstage interview, stating that he was partly responsible for much of the “Impact” deejay’s early success.

According to Kasanova, Alkaline’s image, style and sound was partially crafted by himself and former manager Dwayne Morris, stating that “His whole career is built on a lie… he was made in China by us.”

The deejay also claimed to have written much of the vendetta boss’ early hits, and that their sound and style was heavily influenced by Vybz Kartel, Popcaan and Jah Vinci.

The young deejay who hopes to make it big time says he is currently focusing on his own career, despite often being critisized for looking and sounding way too much like the vendetta deejay.
