Kanye West dropped US $85,000 for a photo of Whitney Houston’s drug-filled bathroom, for Pusha T’s new album cover.
During an interview with Angie Martinez on Wednesday, Pusha discussed his new “Daytona” project and opened up about how at the last minute his album art was thrown out because West wanted to license Houston’s picture.
Yeezy ended up cashing in his own money for the photo, explaining to Pusha T, “This is what people need to see to go along with this music.”

The photo was taken in Houston’s bathroom in 2006. In the image, you can see several drug-related items like a crack-smoking pipe, spoons as well as liquor and white powder.
The album artwork was released on Thursday ahead of his album. Pusha T’s new “Daytona” album is now available.
